Lip Kit by Kylie is a set of a matte liquid lipstick and a lip liner created by Kylie Jenner and released through Kylie Cosmetics. The shades are handpicked by Kylie herself. Each kit costs $29. Although not all colors are available as singles, a single lip liner costs $14 and a single liquid lipstick - $17.

The first collection including 3 beige/brown colors (with "Candy K" having also a nude pink tone) was released on November 30, 2015. Everything was completely sold out within the first minute of the premiere. "Candy K" is a soft, warm nude. "Dolce K" is a medium beige nude. "True Brown K" is a deep chocolate brown.
Valentine's Day 2016[]
In January 2016, Kylie announced that she is working on a special Valentine's Day collection of the lip kit. She has tried over 10 new shades, but has chosen only 3 to be a part of it. "Posie K" is a dusty, mauve pink. "Mary Jo K" is a true blue red. "Koko K" is a pale, pinky nude.nlknkln
4th of July 2016[]
In June, Kylie Jenner announced that she has two new lip kit colours that are ready, wondering when to release them. Later in the same month, she showed the shades surprising everybody with the fact that they're blue. She also added that she created them in honour to 4th of July - The USA's Independence Day. The first one is bright sky blue - "Skylie". The other surprising shade is rich navy blue, called "Freedom". This is the longest shade that took to sell out, taking just over 30 hours after the release to sell out. The limited-edition colors were released on June 24.
Summer 2016[]
In July 2016, Kylie Jenner revealed that she has chosen three new mattes to release as a collection for the summer. Later, she announced that these are the warm brown berry "Kristen", the light cool-tone nude "Maliboo" and the warm terracotta brown "Ginger". The first two shades were released on July 20 and the third one - on July 22.
August 2016[]
In August 2016, Kylie Jenner revealed a new collection of matte colors including the rich plum brown "Love Bite", the true yellow brown "Brown Sugar" and the mid-tone yellow peach "Dirty Peach". The shades were released on August 26.
Fall 2016[]
In October, Kylie Jenner showed new Lip Kit shades on her Snapchat account and announced that it's her new collection for Fall/Halloween 2016. It includes the dirty mid-tone orange "Pumpkin", the taupe-y nude "Moon", the deepened raspberry-plum "Spice" and the blackened teal green "Trick". The shades were released on October 12.
Koko Kollection[]
The Koko Kollection is the first collaboration of Kylie Cosmetics. The 4-shades pack was created with Khloé Kardashian and includes the mattes "Okurrr" (vibrant fuchsia), "Khlo$" (cool yellow nude) and "Gorg" (red burgundy wine) and the gloss "Damn Gina" (soft shimmering peachy-pink). Kylie Jenner presented the collection as the first holiday surprise for her fans on November 4, 2016. The pack will be released on November 9, 2016 and will cost $40. The entire collection is now a permanent addition to her website.

Kylie Jenner released two new lip kit shades as a part of Kylie Cosmetics' limited-edition collection for the holidays - the deepened rich red "Merry" and the blackened vampy plum "Vixen". They were both released on November 21, 2016.

In February, Kylie Jenner teased a new color on her Snapchat with a photo of her freind Jordyn wearing a vibrant burnt orange shade of matte lipstick. A few days later, she announced that the color will soon be available on Kylie Cosmetics' website and announced the name - "22", her lucky number. She released the shade for the first time on February 29, 2016 (see History of Sales). This is the first shade that doesn't have a "K" in its name.
Kourt K[]
In March, Kylie Jenner announced that she has created a new color, dedicated to her sister Kourtney Kardashian. The "Kourt K" shade is deep purple. Also, Kylie improved the brush of the liquid lipstick by making it fluffier to be more comfortable on the lips. The first release of the shade was on March 25, 2016.
Exposed[]
In May, Kylie Jenner showed her new color, saying she and her friends have been using it for a while before announcing it. The shade is the lightest one she has so far and her favorite nude of all time. It was first released on May 13, 2016. "Exposed" is a light cool toned nude.
Dead of Knight[]
In June, after fans begging her to create a black lip kit, Kylie Jenner revealed the limited-edition shade "Dead of Knight". She announced the new color via her Snapchat and Instagram accounts. "Dead of Knight" was released on June 10. The shade is an intense true black. After fans wanting it to stay, she decided to make it a regular shade and kept selling it.
Leo[]
"Leo" is a true deep burgundy shade created as a part of the Limited Edition Birthday Collection. This special shade cost $30 because it contains real gold in honor of Kylie’s 19th birthday. It was sold in limited edition gold packaging. It was revealed on July 31, 2016 and was released on August 1, 2016. After fans wanted to buy it, but didn't have the chance since it was limited, Kylie made it a regular shade and took it back in stock a few weeks later.
Smile[]
"Smile" is a pale pink shade released on October 3, 2016. All of the net proceeds from the lip kit were donated to the Smile Train organization to pay for the surgeries of 600 children.

Shipping Box[]
In February 2016, Kylie Jenner started shipping the lip kits in a special box that she designed herself. The box was white on the outside with black drops "leaking" on its sides. On the inside, it was completely black with a grey "Kylie" logo on the inner side of the top.
In May, Kylie announced that she has decided to change the design of the box to make it more unrecognizable after many customers were upset because they had received an empty box as the ease of recognition of the boxes meant that products were frequently stolen from doorsteps and by some postal workers. The new box is completely black on the outside and the drops that were black and on the outside are now white on the inside. Inside the box contains a promotional photo with a message from Kylie and the products customers had ordered from her site.
